My name is Steven Morris and I am the "one" person that you
will be dealing with at Morris Machine Services. I have worked in
the air compressor business for over 20 years as a service
technician. In that time I have developed a reputation for doing
job's with an attention to detail, and for going the extra mile to
make sure the machine is running at it's best.
I have lived in Monroe Michigan most of my life, I grew up here
and my family ran a business in this community for a number of
years. Most of you that have been here for some years may
remember my father who ran a local lumber yard. He provided
good products at fair prices and didn't mind helping you
understand what you bought was the best choice for you! Dad
always believed in doing the job right the first time and in taking
care of what you have rather than simply replacing it when it
broke. I spent a lot of time working on equipment with my dad
after hours, and learned first hand what it takes to keep
machines running smoothly and dependably.
I have worked in a few different fields as a mechanic over the
years, from golf carts and lawn mowers to motorcycles and
automobiles. I have always been proud of the work I have done
and take time to make sure it is done right the first time! Quality is
no accident and does not come by cutting corners and taking
short cuts.
I started Morris Machine Services in October of 2007 to provide
customers with quality products and services, like my father, I
will take the time with you to decide what is the best choice for
you! Morris Machine Services is your alternative choice from the
big air compressor service company's, for your service & repair
needs.
In 2010 I picked up a service contract at a facility that the
maintenance manager was asked to cut his budget by 10% and
in April I took over doing the P.M. service to 4 rotary screw
compressors, 2 regenerative air dryers, and one small piston
compressor. The first service was quite high due to the amount
of work required to get the machines to my level of satisfaction.
Since then the maintenance has been minimal and he has had
no problem with exceeding the 10% reduction in his compressor
maintenance cost's.
This is just one example of what my service is all about, I treat
your air compressor system as if it were my own. There is no
secret to providing quality service, but you must have the
knowledge and the willingness to do the work require to keep
the machines running at there best. If you are tired of excuses
